Track your applications
- Web app
The Dashboard keeps track of every job you've queued: its documents, its status, when you applied and what happened next. Group your applications into job hunts, such as a summer internship search.

What the Dashboard shows
- Today: what needs you now, such as jobs ready to apply to and applications that have gone quiet and might need a follow-up.
- Your applications: each queued job, with its résumé, cover letter and status. Search by title, company or location, and use the tabs and filters to narrow the list.
Press Add a job to add one yourself: paste the job description, and HitApply tailors your documents to it.
Update a status
Every application has a status. Change it from the badge on its row as you hear back:
| Status | Means |
|---|---|
| To Apply | Documents ready, not applied yet |
| Applied | You've submitted it. The applied date is filled in; press it to change it |
| Interviewing | You're in their process |
| Offer | You got an offer |
| Rejected | They said no |
| Withdrawn | You pulled out |
You can also regenerate a job's documents to try another template or tone.
Job hunts
Job searches come in phases: a summer internship, then a new-grad search a year later. When one ends, open the menu on the Applications title (the ▾) and choose Start a new job hunt. Name the one you're finishing (say, "Summer 2026"), and your board and stats start empty. Nothing is deleted.
- Past job hunts are in the same menu. Each keeps its jobs, documents and stats, and its statuses and notes stay editable.
- Bring jobs back with Move to current job hunt on a row, or Restore all.
- Export CSV downloads a job hunt's applications for a spreadsheet.
- Discover still shows a job you applied to in a past job hunt, marked "Applied in Summer 2026", so you can decide whether to apply again.
- Name this job hunt in that menu names the one you're in. It's optional.
