Discover is HitApply's job search. It searches a pool of fresh postings from company career pages, and you can queue any job to get a tailored résumé and cover letter for it.

Search for jobs

  1. Open Discover in the sidebar.
  2. Type job title keywords, such as software intern or data analyst.
  3. Narrow it down with Level (Intern, Entry, Mid, Senior) and Field (Software, Data & AI, Security, IT).

Newest jobs come first. The coloured dot next to a job's age shows how fresh it is: green for under 12 hours, amber for under a day.

Press a job to read the full description before you decide.

Queue a job

Press Queue on a job. HitApply starts writing a résumé and cover letter tailored to it, and a strip at the top of the page shows the progress. When it says Ready, the job is waiting for you in the Apply Queue.

Queueing uses credits. Searching and reading jobs is free.

If you run the same search often, save it:

  1. Run the search.
  2. Under Saved searches in the side panel, press New saved search and give it a name you'll recognise.

Pressing a saved search fills in the box and runs it again. To rename or delete one, use the edit button next to it.

Your job alert

Your job alert is the one search HitApply keeps watching for you. New jobs that match it are collected and can be sent to you as notifications. You have one alert; edit it any time from Job alerts on Discover.

Saved searches and the alert are separate: saving a search never changes your alert.
